Brindavanam retirement home (for women) is a clean and well maintained place. It is located within the city. Currently the three retirement homes (run by the same management) together house 60 inmates above the age of 50 years. The home also accepts aged couples and they provide a separate room for them. The attendants and caretakers are polite and courteous towards the elderly and the visitors. They maintain a homely atmosphere for the people staying there. They accept donation in the form of cash, kind or volunteers. Since the home is run by a medical professional the inmates are given good medical care.
