Visited the museum with family, and had great time! Highly under-rated place but deserve appreciation for putting everything together. A must visit for railway history buffs. A lot of historically vital data on Indian railways and southern railway at the museum. You would learn a lot along with nice historical train models at display. Young children would love the experience of watching the trains up and close. Extremely well maintained and clean place. Nice job and Kudos Indian Railways! Well Done!

Museum is full of information's about the trains made and year by year progress of southern railways. You can get complete information about the starting and progress of ICF.

Interesting place. Neatly maintained, greenery all around. Different types of train model are on display. Kids will have a good time climbing up and down. The art gallery and museum displays historical events. There is a small play area also for kids. Quality 3 hrs with family. What a beautiful place. Entry is free, but if you want the quaint train ride and the coach museum then ticket prices are 50. Do give the steam engines a good look over.

All my grand daughters from Bangalore never like to miss atleast one visit to rail museum every time they come chennai. They just love it's atmosphere. Please keep improving. A request, can you please make the train trip as 3 rounds instead of 2? Or whenever the place is not crowded, can consider allowing two trips in train ride at least for the children alone. Please consider
