I haven't been to any of the in-person meetings, but I felt the online ones were just as effective. I attended 2 meetings as a guest before knowing for sure I was going to join Chennai Wordsmiths, where the bar is set high. It is a professional environment, and I found everyone so encouraging. I could not only develop my confidence via public speaking but also via leadership by taking on various roles in the club and club meetings. It is great opportunity to learn and put your speaking skills to the test. This is one place where you'll receive honest evaluations about your performance. Also, I found amazing diversity especially in this club, where we have members ranging from 18 to 60. What are you waiting for? Come attend a Wordsmiths meeting and see for yourself how wonderful this community is!

Wordsmiths is an excellent place where you can reinvent yourself. Not only public speaking, you will also get to learn time management, organising, punctuality, prioritizing and great fun at meetings. In wordsmiths all the members are very supportive. As an entrepreneur, in the recent times i can feel the difference in communicating with clients and in sales closure. My confidence level has increased. Looking a way forward to learn more new stuffs. If you are a budding entrepreneur or a college student who is curious in public speaking I would highly recommend to join this club.

There are only few forums that gives experimental experience. Toastmasters gives you that and Chennai Wordsmiths is one of the best clubs in Chennai that has Quality mentors to guide through the process. It's been around 2 years with Chennai Wordsmiths and I have got the opportunity to scale up both in my public speaking and leadership skills that has definitely helped me in my career. The environment is friendly and highly supportive. If you are looking out for club in and around Anna Nagar, you are at the right place! Highly recommend it to improve your network, speaking skills and leadership skills.

I am a member of this club for almost two years now and thus, I have been part of numerous offline as well as online meetings. The sudden switch from offline to online meetings was harsh, but the excellent leaders in the club ensured that we get the best out of the online meetings as well. One of the biggest positives within this club is that people from various backgrounds come to achieve a common goal, that is, to develop and improve their communication and leadership skills. I have experienced the journey of toastmasters since 2019 and this club has provided the best in-class quality meetings pre-covid and even during pandemic (online meetings). Members and club leaders are more supportive thereby providing a mutual learning experience. In my journey of 2 years, this forum has supported me in lifting my communication (public speaking) skills and leadership skills helping me elevate in my career and personal growth.
