DOWN THE MEMORY LANE.. I am very happy to share my experience with the Leading Rheumatologist in the city. I had Arthritis and was treated by a Senior specialist, without much relief. A family doctor suggested that I went to Dr.S.R. who was with TVS Hospital. He asked me why I was leaving the senior Consultant, I told him "there was no improvement". He checked up and ordered a blood test. I went the following day he said I had Rheumatoid and gave me mild pain killers and advised a visit after a month. When I saud I had a miraculous relief and thanked for his divine touch, he hit his temples with his knuckles and in humility said, "I am only a fool; God is Great". I continued to visit him as per his advice. Recently, I had a freak stomach pain and he advised a whole body Scan which revealed an inflammation in the intestine and he referred to a Gastroenterologist who advised a Colonoscopy. This was followed by a Biopsy which proved negative to everyone's relief. Today, when I had a video-consultation with him he was very happy and, he 'thanked me, when I thanked him profusely. I am from Chennai, When almost all doctors in Chennai where unable to diagnose my problem, Dr. Ramakrishnan identified with appropriate tests and started with my medications and experiencing great amount of relief since then. Not all doctors of his experience and caliber entertain a friendly chat, as far as I know. Dr. Ramakrishnan is the best Rheumatologist for sure. We live in Chicago and my husband had been under his treatment for an autoimmune problem. As soon as we started his medication, the test parameters started becoming better. With in a week, we were able to see the difference.
