She is rude. But result oriented very good doctor. I recommend Dr Shantha if you want normal delivery. One thing she is not at all money minded.

She is the worst... pathetic...my first baby got aborted... irresponsible doctor My opinion...if u want the best promising gynecologist..go for Dr. Vasundhara in best hospital Kodambakkam...she's great
Dr. V.K Shantha is fraud. were 80% of pregnancy cases handled by her, but she won't even come to the building where delivery happens(labour ward). She used to come and show her face during discharge. This thing not happened only for me but also for many people. I saw so many people in waiting hall, said the same before that happens me. a guy also said "Dr. Shantha V.K is our consulting doctor, But she not even come here." Whoever comes to SMF graveyard thinks that Dr. Shantha. V.K only will deliver the baby because she is our consulting doctor. But "Mark my word, she will never come". you will be bullied at last. I would have negative rating , but there's no way that's why given 1 star, not even deserve for 1 star. SMF is not hospital, it's a mortuary or graveyard.
Dr .Shantha V.K is a hopeless egoistic fellow. She works at Sundaram medical foundation(SMF), Anna nagar, chennai. She simply created a fake name in public for normal delivery. But she never attend any cases during pregnancy. My wife was consulting with Dr.Shantha right from the second month of her pregnancy, because of her ego, carelessness my baby died. Also the main thing is that, she never used to attend any delivery cases, instead all PG doctors, nurse used to deliver the baby. Also Dr. Shantha .v.k. never used to come to the place where delivery happens, she used to come only during the time discharge. You will go to hell dr.Shantha v.k. you deserve hell. She is a greedy devil. Even though she is very old and cannot give proper treatment to others., she wants to earn more by killing others.
Dr. V.K Shantha is fraud, cruel, and one of the worst doctor, i ever seen. she was consulting my wife right from the beginning. But she didn't show her face during the time of delivery. But in detailed bill summary, SMF fraud used to mention " SVD with Episiotomy - Dr. V.K Shantha charge is - 15,000 ". Dr. Shantha not even showed her face, but they charge like this. Their tricks to attract people by having the term "Normal delivery". The quote is "Dr. V.K Shantha is famous for normal delivery". I don't understand one thing here, anyhow "she's not going to come to labour ward building, so whats the matter here whether she is famous for normal or cesarean" ?? Will you answer for this ? I thought, this happened only for me. But a week ago i met a guy standing outside of labour ward, he said "I am standing outside of labour ward from yesterday night, but Dr. Shantha din''t come here at all" later i understood, Dr. Shantha doing this fraud for everyone without mercy. If you planned to consult with Dr.Shantha V.K, then mark my word, the same will happen for you as well. I am praying God that she has to get paralysis attack and have to suffer months in bed before she die.
Most rude doctor I ever seen. Even though she is most experienced doctor she don't even know how to behave with patients and talk politely...
