Wow, A very well super natural maintained forest area opened for public in 2018 next to Vandaloor zoo towards Kelambakkam road ️. Missed such an amazing place in Chennai so far. For couples it's the best place in Chennai to hang out. Ticket price earlier was 5/- Rs per head now it's 10RS/-. So what are you waiting for. Go for it and enjoy the Nature beauty. Beware of snakes. Kindly go through my snaps if you're seriously interested in visiting the place. 1 star less as the ticket man will show no interest in giving the ticket.

It's good place for family with kids where you can walk for one km which is marked for each 100 meters. So many trees and need to be maintained more. What they collect I don't know what they are maintaining. Can be a best place in future with so many varieties of trees if maintained well.
Hidden in plain sight! Well maintained park with ample space. Charge 10 per adult for entry, children below 5 no entry fee. No charges for camera. Restrooms are not well maintained, I hope they increase charges and maintain the restroom well. Good variety of trees and plants, for learning. Food can be consumed in premises.

Learnt the names of many indigenous trees. Many trees are still in sapling stage. Never mind. Saw a crocodile in the water under the bridge in the park. There is a children play area. Many kids were enjoying the swing and slide. The TANTEA tea shop near the entrance serves very tasty tea. Ginger tea for Rs 10. It is a park set in a forest. So beware of reptiles
Very well maintained park, contains huge number of medicinal plant germplasm with scientific data.
A must visited place by everyone, especially kids. Very less entry fees. A large place with full of plants and trees gives you superb relaxation.
