So at first let me introduce myself , I am a Travel Vlogger who is out exploring South India right now & prefers Budget Travelling. So when I got to know about this hostel, I had a great feeling that I will make great friends when I entered in hostel & met Sadhu (Owner) as well as the ambience of the hostel itself. So I stayed here for around a week, pitched my tent on terrace in which not only I slept, other people also enjoyed , we did chats sitting inside till 3 am sometimes & sometimes other guys took over my tent & slept inside Then ofcourse I slept in the dorm which are so comfortable & amazing in itself with AC running overnight to give you a resting sleep. And the people I met there, some of them live here on monthly basis because they enjoy this place & the people who stays here, they are friends like you will not meet everyday & atleast not in every hostel for sure. ️ Thank you once again Sadhu, Durby & everyone who is not just in my contact list but also in my heart as a friend.

This is the most worst place i ever visited. No maintenance. No hygiene. No sanitisation. No proper bedding. Not exactly the same as the photos uploaded. Bathrooms are so so smelly. No arrangement of even handwash. There are also A.C. timings and you cannt use fan with it. Highly disappointed with that place.

It’s a great place to stay.... Staff were friendly caring and pleasant. I only stayed here for 2 days, but I surprised by the hostel service. Mr Sadhu And Mr Durby Thanks for the good service.

The best stay we ever had only sad part was we only got to stay for two days. If me and my friends are coming back to chennai we would definitely be staying at hostel gandhi Their roof top parties are the best everyone is so friendly especially the host had a wonderful time

This quaint little travellers hostel is run by two friendly and helpful staff (Sadhu and durby). The dorm rooms are air-conditioned and there's Wi-Fi throughout the property. Quiet workspaces, a kitchen and terrace to hang out in the evenings. Occasional activities and BBQs organized by the staff. Restaurants, pubs and metro station are within walkable distance. Extended stay is recommended for business travelers and backpackers.

The hostel is located very near to IIT Madras. Is near to little mount metro stop. The concept of backpacker's hostel is New concept on the heart of a traditional city. The experience was very unique. There are very few safety lockers which makes it difficult to store your valuable possession in the hostel. Hospitality was good. There is no hot water available for bath. All the other mentioned facilities are there. It might be a bit difficult to locate at first as it's in a narrow gully. If you follow the Google maps carefully you will end up in right place. The food is above average. The area is well maintained and clean. There is a adyar Anand Bhavan hotel nearby which provides varities of food in good quality.
