This guy (Chandrasekaran) is not eligible to handle elderly people. I had taken my mother( who is diabetic) for a normal eye test. The place was crowded. They had to administer dilation drops for the eye test. The attendant was busy talking while adding drops, she applied unevenly on each eyes. After leaving the place my mother got a severe headache and her eye movement got damaged. The movement of pupil became uneven and she also had a blurry vision. We rushed to the clinic again not knowing what the problem was and this guy (Chandrasekaran) was extremely arrogant and he scared us saying that we need to consult a neurologist or a brain surgeon immediately and that it is an emergency. He was keen on washing his hands off saying that he was not responsible for it. His exact words were "You might even get a heart attack after visiting this clinic, we are not responsible for that!". He caused a lot of mental trauma to me and my mother. It was difficult to handle especially when my mother's vision was damaged and we were panicking. We then visited Dr. Ramanujam in Saligramam. He suggested a medicine and consoled my mother saying that it will be cured if she brings down her sugar level. Here I am after 4 months , my mom's eyes are completely cured !!! We never visited any neurologist. I certainly DO NOT recommend Indira eye hospital. They think that they do some sort of free service, whilst they cost 900 per consultation which is exorbitant compared to other eye clinics.
