A non descriptive building housing a great language platform of Japanese, I visited them for a small exhibition that they held , which was as usual a treat for the eyes , there were eager students learning the language who were keen to help in understanding the meaning of all the objects which were on loan from the consulate . My first choice for Japanese language studies in the city. Less crowded, less commercialised, this place offers a conducive environment for learning. Students get individual attention, teachers are friendly. Variety of programs are conducted - workshops on origami, bonsais, Japanese culture, job opportunities, further studies/work in Japan. Students are encouraged to participate in competitions and skits. I have tried other centres for Japanese learning but I keep going back here because they are the best.

In addition to teaching the Japanese language, they will give you all kinds of exhaustive information about Japan, it's culture, Daily life, People which are essential when learning a foreign language. My Sensei is Geethanjali San and She is the best I have seen. Overall a good place to learn JP
