Take 1.hour visit all the stalls/shops & then make Ur pick. Kollathur is Chennais' whole sale market .
Best place to buy fishes.... Price vary from shop to shop... So first ask rate in all shop and then decide which shop to buy... But u can get in cheap price in road shop instead of buying from big shop.... I spent more than 2 hours... Good time spent on eve.. Better to park your bike or car before that government school.. Bcuz weekend their will b heavy traffic ..

The only prominent place in Chennai where you can buy fishes at whole sale price. Fishes from here are exported to other districts,States and even to other countries too.. Wide models of Fish tanks and various tank Accessories are available in various price ranges from cheap item to quality items.. This place is also a prime point to buy Pet animals like birds, cat, puppies, hamster etc... But the sad part is shops over here won't sell fishes in wholesale price Inturn they sell only at retails price for the visitors. While buying accessories Make sure you enquire more than two shops to cross check the price so that you may not end up paying more price for the item. Few shops here are dedicated for certain products like tank accessories, fish feed etc, make sure you catch hold of those selective shops to buy items at lower price..
