Shifted and downsized, but fortunately the taste and quality of the food remains the same. The go place in Velachery when you crave for some reasonably priced Kerala cuisine. Seating capacity is reduced post COVID, and the ambiance of the original place is missing. Beef ulatjiyaghu, parotta, Karimeen pollichathu, are some must try items.

Got to try this place after hearing a lot about them. Dinner starts at 7.00 pm. Don’t get there too early, you’ll have to wait. Biriyani wasn’t up to the mark. A lot of vanaspati(Dalda) in biriyani. There are better and great Malabar biriyanis in the town. Beef fry was tasty. Good service by the staff. Good ambience. Beautiful playlist of Malayalam songs. It’s a good feel. Their Appams are really great, don’t forget to try them.

Bought Malabar parotta and chicken varuthurachathu on 6th April but sadly parotta tasted like factory made frozen parotta. The gravy too was disappointment. I used to be a regular customer of kumarakom for their quality. It seems that their quality is deteriorating

We ordered only veg food.. Puttu Was very dry, no coconut and not good at all. Kadalai curry was very spicy and had raw taste of spices. Aapam had no taste, very tangy, no salt and also not sweet. Kerala parotta was so dry, can't even eat it, no oil nothing.. Price was very high.. I recommend not to go there if u r looking for a veg Kerala cuisine..
