This is an honest review from someone who was looking for cosmetic options to remove lipomas for almost six months. After going through several consulting sessions at multiple specialty clinics in South Chennai I had given up on treatment for several reasons. Firstly, most of the doctors appeared to be rather focused on my insurance plan rather than patient care. Secondly, there was a wide fluctuation in the overall costs associated with these procedures. Lastly, for some reason my interaction with them lowered my confidence levels in moving ahead with the treatment. As a last resort I started searching for cosmetic clinics in South Chennai and stumbled upon Lipos Cosmetic Clinic. With little hope I made the call to Dr. Krithika Ravindran and had setup an appointment. To my surprise the first meeting with her went extremely well. Unlike other practitioners she was focused on explaining the surgical procedure to me along with an anticipated timeline of recovery. I found the overall cost of the procedure to be reasonable and so decided to proceed with the surgery. She immediately scheduled an appointment few days from then and also briefed me about the do’s and dont’s prior to the surgery. The surgical procedure was conducted in an operation room. Dr. Krithika Ravindran explained each and every step of the surgical procedure to minimize any uneasiness within me. Post-surgery instructions and medications were well laid out by her at the end of the procedure. Recovery from the surgery was smooth and without any complications or side-effects. In my experience I found Dr. Krithika Ravindran as an ideal healthcare expert with the right balance between patient care and costs. I would very much recommend her for cosmetic surgeries!
