The High Court of Judicature in Madras is one of the three High Courts in India situated in the southern state of Tamil Nadu. This ace court is among India's three High Courts that were formed at the then Presidency Towns of Calcutta, Bombay as per the order by Her Majesty Queen Victoria.
In India, Court of Small causes are established under the Presidency Small Cause Courts Act-1882. As per the Act, The State Government may, by order in writing, establish a Court of Small Causes at any place within its territory. Also, these courts decide only civil cases of small value in a summary manner. High Court possesses a power of revision on the judgements of Small Causes courts.
Police doesn't know how to behave to senior citizens. First they should learn how to talk to people and then take up duties. On 26th March I came for my case along with my dad, who is not able to stand and request for a place to sit. The way that fat police officer spoke i don't think she will speak to her dad like that.
Standing tall since 1892, still this historical monument speaks for itself. This used to be one of the light house in Chennai, but currently not in use. This campus is the largest Judiciary campus in India and it comprises of High Court of Madras, City Civil Courts, Small Causes Courts, Motor Accident Courts, Family Courts, Mediation Centre, low adalat and so on.
