The hookah bar in Thousand Lights area sealed on the recommendation of the Greater Chennai Police(08.02.2021). Part of “DAD” Action of GCP, The Commissioner of Police Tr. Mahesh Kumar Aggarwal IPS has ordered to eradicate drugs selling and smuggling activities in Chennai. On 24.10.2020, a special team led by Additional Commissioner of Police, Dr. R. Dinakaran, IPS, South, conducted a special drive in 1) V Lounge, 2) Gusto Cafe, 3) Baristo Brew, 4) The Skyfall Lounge, 5) Hotel Park View 6) Mokka Cafe & Restaurant, 7) Vinny Foods ( Latte ) in Nungambakkam and Thousand Lights areas and arrested 14 persons and seized hookah equipment from them. Following this, out of the 7 shops, against which cases were registered, the Greater Chennai police took action (1) to revoke the licenses of 5 shops which were operating with the permission of the Corporation (2) to close and seal the 2 shops which were operating without the permission of the Corporation. As a part of it, the Mokka Cafe & Restaurant which was functioning in Thousand Lights area, without permission of the Corporation, was locked and sealed by the Chennai Corporation officials on 02.02.2021. Steps are being taken to close and seal the remaining 6 shops soon.

Good place to hangout with friends. Go smoke and chat. Music could have been better and also Refrigerated bottles (cold water) would be better.

One of the best hookah bar in Chennai. Very nice ambience and good place to chill out in weekends since it's open late in night. Food is also good thought they don't have much variety. Overall it is a very cool place to hang out with friends and I definitely recommend this place for hookah lovers.

Very relaxing place to.enjoy things with shisha and other.good stuff like.french fries ,pizza ,pasta etc... watching Cricket or.pther fav sports is an extra benefits of.this place in Projector.

It is one of the best cafe for hookah.... And also good place to hangout with friends. The size of the bar is very large and comfortable. Lot of space available for parking.Veg dish only available. Taste of the food are amazing. But cost of the food is high. Water bottle are in mild cooling. Music on the cafe create a good ambience for smoke and chat with friends. The staff's are also friendly. Week Days allowed for more hours but in weekends limited hour are allowed.
