Covid-19 has really kept us all down rather locked down in 2020 until now. Should I say "humbled us" more! Let me come to the point. My 94 year old mom lives with my brother in Vengaivasal. The need for diapers for her was more as the days go by. My brother used to goto Parry's Corner to get the diapers in bulk. Online ordering was not in vogue for my brother. One day, when I was casually talking about my mom to hi. On phone, he seemed a little frustrated about my mom and her usage of diapers. Since, he couldnt go out and also, (my brother is aged 70) due to covid curbs, i wanted to pich in. Then my daughter, Mrs. Swapnaa Shyam sent me her friend, Ms Anupama's phone number. Ms. Anupama was ever ready to help me with buying mom's diapers from Old is gold Store. Old is Gold was not able to organize delivery in the early stages of the lock down (Apr). Venkat and other members of the Prayojana team personally stepped in to deliver it, until May end when Old is Gold began delivering themselves. Despite covid lockdown times, the diapers were delivered almost on time thanks to the Prayojana team . Three cheers to all of you and i hope your services to old people will be highly appreciated.
