I do rarely rate any hotel a 5 star. This hotel deserves it. Its very old and very authentic style dishes are prepared. Mutton biriyani and liver fry is my favorite. We can also get rabbit, turkey and quail. Their chicken 65 is delicious.A must try hotel near Chennai central.

All mutton dishes are too good, but the aroma is missing in biriyani.. So apart from biriyani everything is good.. You can feel the taste of other dishes..

Old and very famous hotel. In my opinion egg dosa is vera level. Prices are not too high and not too low also.

This is not a fancy place for meet-ups and have family or friends. It does have seats to sit and eat, gloomy walls, decently clean place, doesn't have an ambience, has a family room of sort. But the food, makes all these aesthetics stuff doesn't really matter. For the price, the quality and quantity of the foods are very good. Has exotic COOKED meats such as turkey, rabbit, pigeon (based upon stock) to try out if you fancy it. From a small light meal to a wholesome stuffing lunch, this place has everything for you. Must try for people who visit the area, or live nearby for authentic non vegetarian food experience, thee piquancy may go out of the charts at times, so be wary before dunking in the salna. Nonetheless, good food at good price.
