I went there in 2013 to pay entry tax for my motorcycle in order to re register it here in Tamil Nadu.They seemed to enjoy harassing people.Only the clerk who prepared the calculation was kind to me.Two days I had to spend for it and the second day I had to sit there from 11am to 3 30 pm in the evening even without taking lunch and losing one full day leave to get it done.They had charged me heavily also.The senior officer had a delight in increasing the fees calculated by the clerk.I don't know how they calculate it.They asked me to pay in cash so that processing can be done fast and else they will accept only DD and the same will take one week or more to get deposited in the treasury.It meant, I had to walk around for another one week or more.So I agreed to pay in cash. Finally, when the person who gave me the fees receipt collected money from me,it was 200/- rupees higher than that mentioned in the receipt. Here bribe is not asked....simply they feel that they deserve it....They are always busy...No..they act as if they were busy...They don't see or hear you even if you ask them something...you are invisible to them...Your presence is ignored....Cruel people.. Hated the government offices altogether after going there.I was wondering whether these people had families and how they will feel if their son or daughter had to pay bribe like that and getting treated inhumanly in some other state where they don't know the language too.
