So beautiful the architecture and you can feel like in European countries. Anyways the prominent of this place is not know by many, but this is were St. Thomas body laid in fact not original body, his body taken to Italy actually but his body was once here. You have to know the history how Christianity came to India, through St. Thomas who traveled to India in 52AD and was killed at St. Thomas Mount (renamed) hill top. Britishers not the reason for Christianity in India who came on business purpose on 6th September 1604 . Anyways this place is so peaceful it's so photogenic and inside the replicate body of St. Thomas' and some Christianity materials.

A very nice, quiet and peaceful place of worship. Though I am a Hindu I was allowed to go inside the Cathedral and offer my prayer to the Lord. I sat there for a while and gained peace of mind and body after a day of hectic tour. The outside beauty of the Cathedral was really charming and fascinating. I loved our Allmighty Lord as well as the nice cathedral.

Absolutely Beautiful! The Cathedral is fully white and extremely beautiful with work of art interior. The whole cathedral has generous parking space and is ideal for marriage (I have witnessed a beautiful christian wedding with almost 40 cars parked). It has a heritage of history with Saint Thomas which you can read online in details.

very peaceful place. The whole cathedral looks extremely beautiful and the architecture of the basilica looks amazing. The interior art work is too good. you can come here anytime and sit and pray and have peace of mind. I heard that This place is said to give you positivity. Many foreigners comes to this cathedral. This place is well maintained and clean..!! The parking space is small because there will be too many visitors during Sundays and there is shortage in parking space. Separate Restrooms are available for male and female.

Most perfectly designed architecture work. I attended mass with my friend here for the first time and was awestruck by the architecture work. Atmosphere was very pleasant and calm.

First time I am visiting a church.. went normally to see but after hearing the history of this place I was shocked... Very very happy to know about st. thomas. Don't forgot to go to museum there. Underground you can see the tomb of Thomas apostle. In only three places in the world have this kind of special back ground.

One of the world famous Basilicas in the world. Very neat and tidy. Great place to spend a quiet time in prayer and penance. Entry is free for all people.
