These guys know CAR AUDIO. Too Good. They know the technicalities of car audio, unlike most of others in the business where they just connect the wires and give back your car. The owner of the place Mr.Karthik is one of your go to person for your car audio needs in India. His level of expertise and knowledge is just way beyond the others in this field, we can also say incomparable. They do not try to up-sell you. They suggest components after they study your requirements. Their attention to detail is on par with international standards. I can literally go on and on about them. Some might find it a bit expensive but then a good car audio system is expensive and when you do something you do it right or not do it at all. Overall I am extremely satisfied with the install.

It's been a good experience at .speed freaks. They are highly professional &skilled in car audio installation field. Speed freaks team is is very cooperative. They cleared all my queries .They use very genuine and upmarket products for the car audio system. There work is excellent. Karthik sir has tuned my car as per my requirement and I really like the overall sound quality . They have stringent quality checks before delivery. I wanted to get a serious audio upgrade in my mini cooper S which had a terrible sounding standard sound system. I was hunting around looking for retrofit upgrades and good installers. I visited a few, but none of them were confident about doing it on a mini. then I happen to come across speed freaks at Anna Nagar. spoke to Karthik the boss and was impressed with his experience and knowledge. I visited them and had a detailed discussion of what kind of sound I needed and budget etc. these guys are true professionals, they handle mostly high-end vehicles. you will find RR, Lambo, Porsches, etc parked there for retrofits and upgrades...these guys know what they are doing. as a precaution during fitment they wrap the metal parts around the work area to avoid scratches. they also add and advise you on sound deading material as well. overall, my experience has been excellent, I have got the sound that I expected and Karthik was spot on with the sound tuning. probably these guys are the only ones in Chennai to do these kinds of fitments on premium cars. believe me, I could not find any other. thanks for speed freaks, I would recommend these guys any time. other than audio upgrade, they do a variety of retrofits and upgrades . after a few weeks, I got the front grill upgraded to JCW as well. they do a final wash and cleaning before returning the car. overall excellent experience. my best wishes to team speed freaks.

What can I say about Speedfreaks except WOW! I’ve spent a lot of money trying to get the sound in my car to sound just like I like it. I’ve tried many different speakers, amps and very many different installation teams. I finally found Speedfreaks and must say I was a bit hesitant at first for Karthik recommended a complete reinstall. But there was a brand new 1.5 crore AMG GLE being stripped and also on display were lots of awards and certifications for the team. I went ahead with the over haul and .. words simply cannot describe how well they did it and how great the sound is in my car now. I listen primarily to rock from the 80s and 90s and it’s no easy task getting it to sound just right. Karthik patiently sat with me, recommended what speakers I must get and tuned the system exactly how I like it. And quite importatly he didn't ask me to buy really expensive speakers - he suggested the best for the sound that I like. Many of you might find this place expensive at first - but if you want the best sound this is the place to go to. A bargain need not necessarily mean just buying something for cheap but getting more for the money you pay. Something I have realized when it comes to car audio is that unless you consult an audio specialist, you will keep going in circles and end up spending lots of money on wrong products. Speedfreaks really made me realize that installation and tuning matters the most and it's not just about big brand names or products.

Recently I installed pioneer touch screen car stereo through SPEED FREAKS , writing this review post 10days of usage.. I was so ambiguous on choosing a touch screen stereo with recent updation , my car is 4yr old with default company stereo.inbuilt . I visited few vendors on this , post few research in online and offline I came to conclusion no use of changing a touch screen car stereo for.the sake of video playback .. Finally I visited SPEED FREAKS , one of my subordinate suggested SPEEDFREAKS , I visited this place with presumption of high fi vendor with lot of service charge ( i was wrong ) .. met SANTOSH , he gave an different view of car stereo and variation on car stereo ... He took me to KARTHIK , I must tell.about this person , I am.basically in to.sales for.over 14yrs I can easily judge whether someone trying to sell.something to.me Karthik started talking to me , I was just amazed on his view on it , he explained on how stereo works , music definition and customer support rendered by them ... iam.convinced on his approach and installed within 4days ... I.installed PIONEER DMH 5290BT .. absolutely great system...new experience in music .. AR RAHMAN 90's hits when I listened , it was like a heaven feel.while.driving ..... Thanks SANTOSH AND KARTHIK .. Guys pls visit this place if u r searching for a right destination for an ultimate guidance.
