Feathers hotel had come up with an amazing new restaurant I would say. They have a live kitchen and an extraordinary ambience, perfect for dates and family dinner. Right from their starters, everything was bound to perfection in presentation and consistency and the taste. Their new venture of modern Chaat was just mouth watering and something new which we wouldn't have tried anywhere else. The sesame cake got into my top favorites in no particular order. The bread bar along with 3 different sides were filling and instead of one side, having 3 was quite good. The shangai rice with silicon tofu needs a special mention as it was the best among all that I had. Their desserts were simply amazing. We had churros and tiramisu and both were great and we'll definitely love to visit the place all over again for the wonderful experience that we had.

TAMAK moder asian touch restuarant at Feathers in Chennai have bought for us an open studio kitchen. Where you can see all the stuffs cooked and whats happening inside the kitchen from your table through a glass vision....Sounds n looks to cool!! Very poised and loving art of space for fine wine & dine with your exclusives. Plus point for their chef Jayesh who came and greeted us personally to ask for our personal preference to suggested us their specials. Kudos goes to their staff very generous and courteous @Sangram was on toe for the helpfull deeds. On platter they serve us: Drinks: Arni- when u look at their presentation skill you’ll be awstruck with its 1st look. This drink last for my whole dinner its huge its too beautiful. Sungu di- a watermelon side drink. Well it taste good. Thanjavur- pineapple orange and it contains sweet lime...pinchy punch must say for a refreshment. Starters: Bhel croqumbouche- a lite bite start with bhel having cone like structure too fancy for it. And that too a modern high cuisine flavour. Chicken teriyaki- ohk teriyaki was well marinated and every kitchen has it but tamak has give a different modern resemblence. Paneer malai tikka- well my favourites have arrived. In the picture just look at its shape and beauty of how it was presented. Too good to be true the epitomy of my dinner. Spice fish- this 1 was epic and tooooo moist very soft from inside and have good coating from outside. Served with very delicious sauce type gravy. Main course: Shanghai rice chicken- they have fancy bowls in their menu. Bread bar- heavy dish cat finish it alone. Yes it is a very much main course type of a dish. Dessert: Matcha Tiramasu- pretty unusaul by the plattering. Have tasted tiramasu a lot but they prepared it differently with a japanese wine in it. Btw just to flaunt their associate director of foods & beverage personally came for the feedback:P

Amazing pan asian menu.. Live kitchen ambiance, exotic ingredients go into the food!
Tamak is one of the recent Asian restuarants to hit the town. Barely a few months, it has already started to gain a lot of eyeballs thanks to its amazing food, service and ambience. Though Asian restaurants have generally only Chinese & Thai food predominantly, Tamak offers an equal blend of Indian, Japanese, Chinese and Thai. The thing abouts foods is we can , to a certain level judge if the food can be good or not, by a visual as well as a sensory appeal. One whiff of the Indian breads and I could realize this was indeed special and exquisite. Some of the dishes we had included Paneer Malai Tikka (Must try!), Bread bar that included Mutter and Aloo Paratha with Gatta curry and Sarson da Saag) and a chargrilled brocollini and an Asparagus starter (Another must try) The dessert ended with a fantastic chocolate mousse, the taste still lingering in my mind. Given its a 5 star hotel , the pricing has been kept to a very nominal rate, and ideally a meal for two should come up to 1200-1500 or so. Protip: dont classify this as "just another Asian restaurant" and definitely keep this one at the top of your list. The experience would definitely be memorable.
Drove 45 mins from home to find the restaurant closed and we were redirected to an outrageously expensive menu rooftop restaurant since Tamak has been closed since Corona times.
