Have been to this place thrice. This is a small mandap for a low crowd of 100 to 200 ppl and budget friendly too. There is no exclusive parking for this place so ppl visiting can park their vehicles in roads. Usually crowded place as it is nearby the triplicane temple.come early to get good parking place. There are two or 3 rooms. All are ac. The mandap hall is old,large and spacious. The food served place is upstairs, which is also a disadvantage as the old ppl cannot climb all the way up. Other wise decent and simple mandap.

Triplicane Fund kalyana mantapam is an old place. Suitable for functions with low or moderate crowd. Positive factors- easily accessible and very near Sri Parthasarathi swami temple and Marina beach. On the low side- very small hall, no hot water( bath room) and narrow pathways,stairs. But suits low cost budget plans. So decide accordingly.
