A school that asks for parents to teach in school, wherein, such teachers and students will be bestowed with special ‘status’-making them eligible for everything, panning from the special attention of fellow teachers, special gestures from school, nominations as heads of various clubs to many ‘firsts’ in school competitions, none of which are deserving. So if you are a parent otherwise free, please sign up as a teacher to avail all the above said privileges. And to those who care about real education, focusing on the overall development of your child, get ready to be agitated from day 1.Lastly,to the students who really possess some talent or good in what you do,please don’t expect anything from the school, they won’t even notice you. This school is for inane and flippant, vocal braggarts and regressive ‘staff Caucus’ - and the centrepiece of this drama is a revolving door of principals, who are, in turn, often bootlicked and influenced. Having witnessed everything, the only few teachers who really know their job, make their imminent exit ,as the ‘caucus’ flourishes like the water weed Salvinia Molesta,by receiving awards and recognitions from the management. Positively, if the child is intelligent enough, they can get accustomed with a future hypocrite society where good is never recognised and evil is being nurtured by the system itself. All the best parents and children.

I joined Vaels when I was in the 7th grade. Having shifted countries I was quite apprehensive about my schooling in India, and Vaels helped me feel welcome, with enormous support. Now, 6 years later I have completed my schooling and this institution has become like a second home to me. Serving as Head Girl and Asst Head Girl for the school meant that I approached the current management on various occasions, and they supported me and pushed me to become better. A truly special environment for any student to learn and grow, with a friendly outlook like I have not seen or heard about anywhere else in Chennai.

If you want to enrol your child here and aiming at his/her mental and physical well-being,please take note of the following : Pros 1.Your child can boast about being at a school that looks like fancy and have 5/10 infrastructure satisfaction.(from outside.Go look in the washroom, you will be disappointed) Cons (sorry everything else is coming under this folks): 1.This is first and last a BUSINESS.Investing minimum to reap maximum. 2.To facilitate the above ,you will see 98% mediocre faculty who don't know what they do. 3.The school management asks the parents to join the faculty (ladies who may otherwise are housewives) and somehow 'run' the school ignoring immense complaints emerge from parents and students. 4.Hindi Teachers will be either be a hindi speaking native (ladies who arrive here as part of husabnd's job are most welcome) or a diploma holder of sorts.Your child will be a loser if he opts for Hindi. 5.Even in high school, unfortunately this is the situation with most of the subjects. 6.Parents are just money remitting machines here, whatever you complain and suggest fall in deaf ear. 7.If you need your child to succeed in board exams, you may have to plan extra tuitions.

Used to study here for 4 years and had a great time. Only problem is how expensive it is. The cost you have to pay is almost equivalent to that of paying for engineering college. Most of the teachers were not that bad, except for those who are biased on their favorite students. I would rate it 5 stars if it was not that expensive.
