The winter holiday season is magical at HSR. Beautiful lights, delicious food and kind staff aplenty. Good COVID rules as well. (I was there for Thanksgiving dinner in a private dining room. Very well done!)

Beautiful area! Super nice staff! Food is excellent!
So far I've gone to the lavender festival and the Xmas one and both have been fun experiences
Only giving it 1 star because one of the employees at 9:55pm (they close at 10) decided to unplug the big tree that looked like a willow tree. No warning, no courtesy. He could’ve given everyone taking pictures a 2 minute warning. Definitely disappointed
Even with COVID-19, so timed entries, and masks required for some parts, it's a beautiful walk, fragrantful, and peaceful (although they're also playing loud music of the 1940s-1960s). The variety is beautiful and will continue blooming for a few months.
Small area of resort actually usable. Very run down. Most amenities not available. No horseback riding. Restaurant closed except Wednesday evening for burger night Continental breakfast is not worth it No food, coffee or snacks available on premises. Bed comfortable. Functional shower and sink. Pool closed permanently. No tennis, trees down on the court. Dirty, run down. Beautiful views. Nice staff.
