Cheryl is simply a master of her art, and a delight to work with. She's been in the business for over 25 years (back when she developed her own prints). Her eye is impeccable and she captures the depth of character and personality that jump out of her photographs. She did a set of head-shots for me as well as several black and white candids that are some of the favorite photos of myself EVER!! I've gotten so many comments on my head-shots and how 'alive' they look. That's all Cheryl. The photo-shoot was a blast and she made me feel so comfortable. It'a also such a beautiful thing to see someone's art and passion align with their business. She's so kind, super responsive and is a consummate professional. I couldn't recommend her any higher - she's fantastic.

We had the privilege of being photographed by Cheryl Richards for our November wedding at the Boston Harbor Hotel and are blown away by her magnificent work. Having the opportunity to relive the day through our photos brought tears to our eyes. Cheryl Richards is a joy to work with. The pandemic changed a lot of our wedding plans and we ended up with only a handful of guests for safety purposes. She was there for us before the pandemic and for every single last minute pandemic change we had to make. She arrived early to our wedding and with a mask. It was one of the hottest days in June and she didn’t stop going and working to make our day and our photographs beyond excellent. Cheryl captured the soul of my family with an artistic eye and ability only she possesses. Anyone can take a photo but no one is Cheryl Richards. She captures the soul and the very truth of a person. We are so grateful she was available on our date! She’s a dream!
Cheryl is AMAZING. I feel so fortunate we were able to have her at our Boston wedding. Her familiarity with the space (Ritz-Carlton, Avery St), professionalism and warmth allowed my husband and I to feel completely comfortable in what otherwise would have been so awkward. Her responsiveness leading up the wedding was great. Since we were not local, we scheduled calls and met by FaceTime to ensure we had all of the details covered. When we finally did meet, it was as if we were old friends greeting each other with big hugs. She's SO sweet! Cheryl fit seamlessly into the wedding day so much so that I wondered if she had caught all of the memories. Sure enough, the pictures came out spectacular. The facial expressions, dance moves, laughs and sweet moments were ALL captured perfectly. She's honest, detail-oriented and a true expert. I'd recommend her to anyone!
