My wife and I have been banking with Chesapeake Bank of Maryland for many years and have always enjoyed excellent, personalized service. The team members seem more like friends and neighbors than bank employees. They are always friendly, helpful, and responsive to our needs. In particular, we have appreciated the service we receive from Rose Cooper, Senior Vice President. We recently called on her for assistance and, like always, despite her broad scope of work and having to attend to the needs of many customers, she made us feel that we had her full attention and were her most important priority. Great knowledgeable staff always eager to help. If the person answering the phone doesn't know the answer they find a person who can. When you visit they always treat you like a neighbor and not another customer.
My family has been customers of Rose Cooper and her team at the Joppa Road Branch for over 30 years. They treat you like you are family. The customer service is by far the best of any bank we have ever used. Rose has always gone out of her way to meet with us whenever we had questions, and she takes a few minutes to just say hello anytime we are there. This Bank is a place where everyone knows you and welcomes you when you walk in the door.
I have been in business for 30 years ( two big banks) ! I moved to this small local bank based on the recommendation of a close family friend! In the 1.5 years with the bank; Rose Copper and Tammy Hopkins have made me feel welcome and part of the family! With this year of the pandemic, they have helped us survive with the PPP, made sure we would have change whenever needed and joined our endeavor in FEEDING THE FRONT LINES ( 2400 meals donated ) with support and donation of bags. I began doing business with Chesapeake Bank at the Joppa Road Branch for both business and personal in 2013. Without a doubt, it is the friendliest bank I have ever done business with. It is so cool. When you walk in, everyone knows your name. What is impresses me is that they always have adequate tellers available. I do some personal banking at another bank and it is always a fifteen or twenty minute wait because they only have one teller on duty. My business has moved a substantial distance away yet I still have accounts at Chesapeake Bank just because I like coming there.
