My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here. It was super clean and the beds are super comfortable. The only downside was the provided cookware was in the dishwasher still dirty when we got there so we couldn’t use them but we were only there for two nights so we survived without it lol

Candlewood Suites was an excellent stay for myself & family. The staff from the onset was pleasant & efficient. Our room was clean and spacious. The hotel was convenient to downtown & there were plenty of eating establishments nearby. I needed a late checkout & they obliged me with no problem. They do not do daily bed service but fresh linen & towel are available to you. It is a wonderful place & we will come back.

I do not typically say anything negative in reviews. I normally just chalk it up as someone is having a bad day. However, here I am. This place has (guessing) well over 100 rooms. Has 3 washers and only 2 dryers. Which would normally be understandable if the 2 dryer didn't take 3 cycles to dry. I had 2 loads of clothes and there were multiple other people that were waiting. Mr Banks, supposedly the evening manager, was no help. And honestly was disrespectful. When ask if we could get someone here to check dryers or allow use of lining dryer. He offered addresses to local Laundromats. Well I travel with a truck and trailer, so going to Laundromat doesn't work for me. He was not receptive nor helpful. On top of that his attitude was disrespectful. I will not be back to this location. However, I stay at a lot of IHG hotels, this is the first formal complait I have ever posted.
Nice rooms. Great service. Only problem I had was the AC. It's loud. Keeps me up at night, occasionally. Not bad for an IHG hotel.
They gave away my room the room stinks and even when we spray it still stinks the dishes were dirty that were in there the toilet could've been cleaned better the only good thing about the room was that it had an ice maker in the freezer and the closet was cleaned
We always stay in IHG hotels specifically the Candlewood Suites. Our last stay was not so good and was made even worse after our stay. Before we even arrived we were downgraded to a smaller suite. Upon arrival we noticed the room smelled as if an entire can of air freshener had been sprayed in the room. That should have been a red flag. As the air freshener faded the reason for it reared its head. The bedroom reaked of urine. We immediately called the front desk and talked to Everett, he came up, switched us to a new room and said he was giving us points since we are IHG Gold members (the points haven't showed yet). To add insult to injury, they no longer had any suites available and we were moved into a regular room. We were told Melinda would call today to touch base with us about our stay, she did not. We had to call her and she said she had been too busy to call. Then we were given a bunch of excuses about why our room smelled like urine...to me there is no reason for a room in a hotel to ever smell like urine or for any customer to have to stay in a room like that. This is not the kind of customer service that we are accustomed to receiving when staying at this hotel and gives us great pause when we think about our future as IHG members.
I have been staying exclusively with this hotel for a little over a year now! The staff is very polite and always able and willing to be me with anything I need done! I am very happy with the way to hotel has been taking precautions with the Covid-19 epidemic, all the rooms are very clean ensuring no guest needs to feel like they are going to get sick while staying there. I cannot think of a better place to stay in this area.
