The technician was great. He was very informative. The repair was expensive though. But that was expected.

Had to order freezer door. They forgot to order it for 3 weeks until I called them. Took 4 months for it to come in. When it was delivered it was the wrong color. The tech did not know what to say. He tried to repair the door and he did so with no problem. I did not need to have a new door to begin with. He was very good. I could tell the first tech had no idea what he was doing. Worst experience in over 50 years with Sears. No one would try to solve the problem, just said to wait. I did for 4 months when I didn't have to. Again, my last tech was great and he would get 5 stars.

Our extended warranty was used when our 2 year old microwave quit. The contracted technician was prompt, fixed it in the first trip (yeah!) and returned free of charge to also replace a cracked cosmetic piece. Very satisfied.

Had my 2 year old refrigerator repaired a month ago due to bad compressor. Thirty days later the unit stopped working. I called for appointment to find out it would be 2 weeks later. Technician came to repair the unit and said the system needing charging so he checked for leaks then charged it. Within less than 24 hours the system stopped working and I called to get an appointment. I am waiting another 2 weeks. This has cost me list food and no refrigerator now for almost a month. Tried to call a supervisor but was told by person in India who answered the phone I could not talk to anyone local about getting a faster appointment. I will never buy anything from Sears again. No wonder they went out of business.
