My office wanted to order a custom pendant for one of the employees who was retiring after 54 years. We wanted the pendant to be special and customized. I called Tidewater Diamond with only a three day notice. Rand was able to accommodate our short notice and customized the pendant exactly how we wanted it. The pendant looked even better than I could have imagined. Rand was able to even include our company's logo on the pendant. Rand even came in before Tidewater Diamond was scheduled to open so I could pick up the necklace. Rand also discounted the necklace we ordered. There prices are extremely fair. I had such a great experience working with Tidewater Diamond and Rand. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Thank you Tidewater Diamond!
I stopped in after searching online for a place that repairs silver jewelry; my wife has a sterling silver butterfly cuff -lots of sentimental value, but it broke one day. They finished repairing it, cleaned/polished it, and I was able to pick it up the next day. I'm really pleased with their service, it looks beautiful, and it's hard to see the two places where it broke. I didn't shop around, and so I'm not sure if the 40 price was competitive. However, I am so pleased with their work and timeliness, that what I paid is worth it to me. I thought it would have cost more. While there, DaniJo asked if I was interested in seeing some pieces for my wife. Although I liked what she showed me, I declined, having already finished my Christmas shopping. But I continued thinking about it, and when I returned the next day to pick up the butterfly, I had changed my mind and bought a few pieces for my wife and daughter. It's a couple days later now, and ultimately, I'm pretty happy with my choice to go there. Looking forward to surprising my girls when they look in their Christmas stockings! I don't buy jewelry often, but I'll definitely visit them again in the future when I'm ready to buy more. Friendly staff, beautiful pieces, timely repair, and a range of services are the reasons why.

Spent some time with Rand and DaniJo at Tidewater Diamond today. Outstanding customer service, great experience, and unlike other jewelry stores: they took time to work with me and my wife to make sure we left with exactly what we were looking for. I will be returning to them for another purchase because they were that good! They didn't push sales, they pushed a lifestyle. No false advertising, no price gouging, and no second guessing authenticity! Honestly, walking in there felt just as comfortable as walking into a family member's home. If I could give more stars I would. 10/10 would recommend.
