I've had the pleasure of working with Deidre as a therapist for several years. We were on the same team and shared several clients. Deidre did fantastic work, with some very complicated cases. She is both skilled and talented, and takes initiative in learning new, evidence-based interventions and approaches. She was always prepared and professional, and brought an obvious compassion to her work with clients. She is very knowledgeable about resources in the greater RVA area, which is a real bonus. She's also really easy to be around and has a disarming, friendly and open personality. I can't recommend Deidre Sledge highly enough.

She delivered a training that was informative, sensitive to the needs of the families, and on point for the current times we are facing. Dr. Vanessa was thorough and made the families feel comfortable to share their struggles as she delivered the training. As a social worker myself, I found the training to be dynamic and invigorating.
