The testing centre is poorly prepared for people with a face covering exemption. Even though there are no signs or advance warnings, they will simply not let you in, exempt or not, if you don't wear a mask. There is a separate room for one person to take the test in, dedicated for people with the exemption, but if you are unlucky, somebody might take it before you do and you'll be waiting for them to finish their test to he able to yours. Apparently, according to a staff member, you can book the room beforehand, but I have not found any information about that. There was a number of technical issues as well, I had to wait further 30 minutes after the test to get my results. The staff were mostly nice, especially the lady at the desk.

Booked a cancellation the night before, was sent 2 emails at the same time, one confirming booking and a reminder for the appointment. In the reminder for the appointment there is no mention of being there 15 before test, I drove from Stratford Upon Avon to Chester for this to be told I needed to be there 15 minutes earlier. There was no help from any staff in centre for me and I was treated like a child. I'm originally from Essex so not familiar with Chester but upon arriving I had to find parking too, just a small bit of compassion would have been nice instead I was told to get there 15 minutes before next time and to read the email which I did and there is no mention on the one I recieved which was the reminder. I've done this test 4 times in the past and I know I can complete it in 20 mins. Very bad service this time.

Met 3 staff members, 2 were friendly and welcoming but the one that gave me my results was really rude and had a bad attitude. Overall my experience and the facilities were good but that I think that lady needs to brush up on her manners!! I would give 5 stars if it wasn't for her.
