If you want to study, get some work done, use the library, watch a film, see a play or enjoy a coffee and cake in the centre of Chester this is the place for you. It's a perfect fusion of art deco and contemporary design. I highly recommend the Storyhouse.

Need a place for plays? books? a place with a nice cup of coffee for the gals? educational yet entertainment for kids? The Storehouse Chester is the place! This beautiful building is located at the entrance to the city centre, and it lights up so beautifully when its dark outside. I have lived in Chester for three years as a uni student, and every weekend I spent time there reading and picking out books to take home! Whenever I needed to quickly print something whilst in town or has to used to toilet, the friendly staffs will help you or guide you to where you need to go for your business. Such a beautiful yet cozy place that you must visit if you love books and plays!
Went to see a Christmas Carol, Really enjoyed the show, loved the production and really safe, from the social distancing point-of-view. Gin and tonic and a little to eat in the bar perfect evening
Absolutely brilliant performance and very enjoyable! Just what we all need at the moment! Thank you so much everyone - both the Cast and all at Storyhouse - very well organised and we felt relaxed and SAFE!! Well done!
Great venue, very clean and spacious. They have done a brilliant job at being covid secure and giving people peace of mind. The show, a Christmas carol, was fantastic as well, highly recommend. One slight benefit to the covid regulations is the extra room and nobody sat close beside you, take advantage before it fills back up again!
