We love West Magazine. It's a great community paper. You will see some pushback from some people, because West carried the columns of conservative black American scholar Walter Williams. If you appreciate having eminently qualified black American conservatives being provided with a voice then this won't bother you; for some reason it seems to bother some subscribers. Otherwise great local news, very balanced reporting of West County events

I get tired of the editorials from Walter Williams. I quit reading them. There is no other editorial expressing a different point of view. I do like the news reported about events happening in Chesterfield. Please do a better job of having a variety of editorials expressing a variety of ideas.

Be prepared to see editorials that almost exclusively reflect a strong conservative bias (looking at you, Walter E. Williams). Bias in editorials is natural, but a quality “news” magazine should invite multiple editorialists who discuss varied opinions, or, at the very least, have writers who don’t attempt to demonize the opposing side in the process. You will, however, find some relevant news about local events. West News Magazine will earn 5 stars when the material it produces seems inclined to unite west county rather than further divide.
