Beautiful, quiet site outside of Chestertown. The property is stunning and idyllic. We loved using our wood burning fireplace and jetted tub. Breakfast did not disappoint! Would be happy to stay again.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay in the Blue Room at the Brampton Inn. The room was lovely, very comfortable and immaculate! The breakfasts were outstanding! We enjoyed the grounds and the common areas and the quiet, peaceful location. The owners, David & Hilary were very welcoming and helpful as was all the staff. We also enjoyed exploring the quaint towns around the Chesapeake. Highly recommended, can’t wait to come back
There is nothing that could have been better. The owners and chef were very pleasant. The cottage and grounds are clean and well kept. The food was top of the line too. We can't wait to return.
My husband and I had the most beautiful micro-wedding/elopement. While some logistics of our wedding day could have been handled better, we have nothing but positive things to say about the inn. The breakfast was so delicious each day with different selections. The food after our elopement (& cake!) was so good I want to elope again just to have it! They even saved the top layer of cake for us to take home to eat on our 1 year anniversary. So sweet. Omg and can we talk about tea time? Amazing! Our family that stayed at Brampton couldn’t stop raving about the rooms and the food. Everything was beautiful, even in the dead of winter, and we can’t wait to go back for another stay in the beautifully kept and super clean rooms and reminisce (and eat that amazing breakfast too)!
I can't even speak about it without feeling good vibes. Ever corner we turned it was sheer delight.️ I got goose bumps when I opened the door and saw our room. Roses and chocolate strawberries with cider waiting. It was just Everything! Spent two nights, couples package and everything more than met our expectation. Dinner wine pairing for two , included in package, was all out my favorite thing. Strolling the grounds was special too. We saw a bride walking towards her wedding in the morning sun. :) Just amazing! Bring your walking boots or shoes. Local quaint shops to be seen near by. Beaches too. Enjoy the peace!! Sunset cottage was a centrally stationed cottage, directly behind the main hotel. It's a cottage with foyer connection to a second, (separate), cottage; ie 2 cottages in one house. Separate entrances. There are other cottages on the outskirts with more privacy (slightly hidden). We still felt like we were the only ones being cared for. ️The simplest of touches makes this place a total hidden gem especially made for a romance inducing couples get away. Oh, almost forgot, bring DVDs and music if u like special things like that. There's no cable just a few local channels. Remember to buy soaps and bath products if you go, they are amazing. Enjoy your romantic stay!
We love the Brampton Inn! It was beautifully decorated for the holiday season. We stayed at the Mulberry cottage for 2 nights after Christmas and everything was lovely. The cottage is a great place to socially distance with restrictions in place. Breakfast was brought to our porch in the mornings and a fire was made for us both evenings. The mid day cookies/treats are always a wonderful addition. I love the Japanese soaking tub and the serenity the Brampton brings. Netflix is on the TV for your viewing; however, this was not always accessible, as they only have a limited number of accounts apparently, maybe 5? Overall, wonderful as always and our time there was priceless!
Oh goodness I am so thankful I chose Brampton Inn for our honeymoon! I truly feel as though we experienced a taste of heaven! The bedding was extremely comfortable and cottony, the breakfasts and homemade baked goods were fresh, natural, and delicious, the staff were so personable, kind, and thoughtful, our gas fireplace was perfectly cozy, and the bathroom and shower were top of the line, I can’t thank you all enough for making our Valentine’s weekend honeymoon something we will cherish for a lifetime
We have stayed with Brampton prior to the new ownership and as many people can be, we were ready for changes and a little hesitant to book during a pandemic because we didn't know the new ownership yet. I booked the Sunset Cottage again, but, when we arrived we found that it was closed due to issues with the heat system. During a winter storm that had to be tough to deal with but we received a free upgrade to the Mulberry Cottage and I HIGHLY Recommend. Immaculately clean, plenty of amenities, easy to communicate to order breakfast, boxed lunches included and we had our own coffee and tea pot in our room. Along with the television, the soaking tub, jacuzzi tub and the steam shower you have all the towels you need, and firewood brought to you. We didn't leave the room once in our two day quick get away. it is well worth the price Also, I am horribly phobic of roaches and bed bugs and the like. Every time we stay away from home we have a protocol that we follow to try to keep our exposure to a minimum. The place is immaculate. I was actually able to sleep and feel comfortable in the room. No weird smells or anything but I do recommend that they wipe down their bathroom walls...they were a little...questionable.
