I spent a few summers playing chess here almost everyday. In those days, late 80s, the pavilion would be packed with players.. for most of the day. It's no longer the chess players magnet that it once was. But it's still a nice place to sit and relax.. and even play a game of.. Oh, I don't know... Chess, maybe.

Beautiful view with chess boards built into the cement benches.. I parked across the main highway and took the tunnel that goes under the roadway. Just keep going :D
Beautiful place by the lake. I woudlnt park in the lot they have since it's so darn expensive. I say spot hero it or park on cannon drive. It's free.
Nice place to stop and while away the time.
Beautiful. Right by the lake. Calming. And this is such a nice place to play chess, hang out with friends, and even going to the lake.
