I’ll be honest, I was skeptical about all of the hype, but it’s true! Geja’s Cafe is the most romantic restaurant I’ve ever visited! Typically I try to judge restaurants across 4 categories: Food, service, atmosphere, and value. My date and I had a great time cooking our own food together and indulging in the chocolate fondue, our waiter was very welcoming and attentive, the ambiance was delightful with a live guitarist playing in the background, and the entire experience was delivered at a reasonable price! I’m recommending it to couples everywhere!

Fondue is definitely a treat because it's not cheap, but every now and then it's important to treat yourself! My partner and I had dinner here during a trip to Chicago for the start of the holiday season. It was wonderful. From the bread and veggie starter to the meats and oil to the desserts it was wonderful. Next time we may just go sit at the bar and have an appetizer or the dessert, to either begin or end an evening out.
A magical and engaging place to be at for a unique date night with your significant other. The music is loud and really adds to the ambience. The food is great, but even better, is the overall experience. You're cooking all of your own food to whatever your liking may be. There's really nothing like it as far as fondue experiences go. We love it and I'm sure you will too.
Simply amazing, fondue from starters to the desserts. The cheese fondue from starter should be improved the cheese quality to make it more cheesy and authentic Swiss chess flavor. I love the main course most, it totally worth it. It is so much fun to hear the sizzling sounds. The quality of the meat and seafood are fresh. The service is wonderful. He is very friendly, welcoming and professional. Highly recommended!!
The patio dining experience was so lovely! Of course our anniversary is the coldest day of winter so far, but the fireplace was wonderful, our private space cosy and the staff was great. I wish I hadn't tried to dress up and instead just be warm and comfy (think boots and sweaters and a comfy coat!) and it would've been perfect, even on a day like this. I think it's a great and intimate setting even after indoor dining continues tomorrow.
