I was contacted in November 2020 that I had a collection on my credit report. Of course, I paid it promptly and was given a confirmation number. Then where I was told the money went to, never showed up. I called Harris and Harris and was told my confirmation number couldn’t bring up any information. Really? Then what was it for? I was also hung up on twice by a Miss Green. This is not right. There must be a way to make these people responsible for taking my money.

Supposedly they offer a 25% off total balance if you pay in full. I was never told this, ever! I would have took advantage of this. Tried to pay off my large amount in big chunks. Then I get a 430.00 off tax season settlement offer in the mail and paid a big lump of money days prior to getting letter so now they won't let me do the offer. They can offer 200 off, seriously! I wanted to pay the difference. Transferred to 5 diferrent people and placed on hold forever. Just ridiculous!
Called to figure out why I had an account due to my insurance not going through. Was transferred to about 5 different people dying oh you’re in a different department but none of them seem to know what they are doing. Get some educated people to work here please
I returned their message, but when they input my phone numbers, , they could find nothing, which makes sense as I have no bills overdue. So they said they wouldn't call anymore. A few weeks later, they started again, so I called and we discussed the situation to the same end - nothing to locate, they would stop calling. But now I'm getting calls again. And it's getting on my last nerve. I reported them to the BBB because I can't get this handled myself.
I set up payment arrangements with them and was having it automatically withdrawn and they still reported this to my credit. I called in and she said it is reported until they are paid in full. She wouldn’t even let me speak, kept interrupting me so I will not pay on this bill any further. If I could give them a no star I would. Update: I told them to stop the automatic draft and she said she did but yet they are still drafting it.
