I feel fortunate to live so close to Chicago's Lakefront Trail. I cycle along it nearly everyday for leisure / exercise. The pavement is smooth and well maintained. The path twists and turns gracefully through various beautiful landscapes, including trimmed grass and wild prairie pastures with plenty of peaceful views of Lake Michigan. Early morning rides are my favorite, as I like to take photos of Chicago's exquisite sunrise.

First time all the way to the bottom. really nice views of the city from inside the south shore cultural center
The only thing that would make this terminus better is if it were further south, preferably somewhere in Indiana.
A beautiful trail for running! I ran 10 miles and was able to see so many iconic places in Chicago.
What a beautiful day to be on the lakefront. Get outside and breathe some fresh air.
