Great doctor as well as amazing team. You feel like you are in good hands and he was honest with me that I was not a good candidate for surgery even though I needed it the outcome would probably not be the best with my other issues and I appreciate it so much the honesty as the almighty dollar does not supersede with this doctor for Rushorthopedics and that is what medicine should be. If I have issues with pain they are very quick to respond with different methods and ideas I don’t just forget about you even though you are not going through with the surgery. Mine was very complicated and he decided it was best with all the other things going on with my health that going conservative was better with me and I trust this doctor and his bedside manner is stellar

After watching one too many medical dramas, I prepared myself to encounter arrogant surgeon who wouldn't want to bother with me if my hip pain didn't make me a candidate for surgery. I was wrong. From the moment I stepped into the office, I felt cared for. I didn't mind the wait (which probably wasn't even ten minutes) and the PA asked me the questions that made my time with Dr. Nho more efficient- no redundant questions. Dr. Nho thoroughly examined me, patiently answered my silly questions, and suggested a options for treatment. I felt I was making an informed decision about my care with a team that wants me to be free of pain. While it's only been a few hours and my follow up is in January, I finally feel confident I'll get to the bottom of this with a doctor who really cares.

I just had hip arthroscopy w/repair on a torn left labrum in my hip. I will say I am delighted with the results of the surgery. I am already able to put my foot flat when I am using my crutches. His medical team was also very professional and informative about any questions I may have had. Dr. Shane Nho along with his medical team are genuinely the best medical professionals for any hip issues. I will say that I will always highly recommend him and his team to anyone that needs or may need medical intervention to correct any hip injuries. Midwest Orthopedic at Rush is very lucky to have such a skilled surgeon on their team.
