This beautiful exhibition right in the same building as The Herrenchiemsee New Palace does a fine job of exampling all that the parlance stands for. When reviewing landmarks I focus more on the staff who either make it special or tour the area and the staff here know how to cater to both tourist and locals. Great labeling of all the artifacts it shows how rich in history this structure truly is.

You can enter this museum with your ticket of the 'Schloßführung' (9 , children are free). Walking through the exhibition rooms you get various impressions of many topics that have moved the king during his short life. May be, one can empathize with some traits of the intellectual and emotional world of this partly anthropophobic and quixotic individual.
