We went to spend new year at the property. The property was ok. Rooms were good with good bed and bathroom. Location wise, it was good... not wow. I faced some issues during the stay, like water was not present in the bathroom always. Where ever I had to use washroom, I needed to check if water was present or not. Hot water was also an issue. Need to tell them to turn on boiler, then only hot water came. No drinking water facility in room. Need to come to dining hall and drink water. There is basically nothing to do in the property. They have chess, carrom and playing cards. If you want to just relax, sleep... then you can come and visit once. Food was ok and no barbecue was done during new year night. That’s a sad part. The staff is limited, so if you want something it will take time. So according to me, if you want to just do nothing and just sleep, then can visit once. But, if you want to have some activities.. then it’s definitely not your kind.

Very picturesque, serene and promises total tranquility It is fairly new home stay started this year. It is situated 18kms from Chikmagalur main town (Via Mallandur) . It is surrounded by a huge coffee estate. The place is very picturesque, serene and promises total tranquility . Mornings and evenings are special due to heavy chirping of birds. Sunset point and Shooting points which are nearby is quite enchanting and worth visiting. Mullayangiri is about an hour and half drive & is worth visiting (Avoid weekends as it may get crowded at the top). Muthodi forest is also nearby and one can go for forest safari. There are about 10 fish ponds in front of the resort which they are planning to convert to water recreation facility for resort. Stayed for two nights and hospitality was extremely good. The rooms & wash rooms are neat and clean, quality comparable to star hotels. The staff were very helpful and courteous Thanks to Cheluvaraj, David and Manjunath . Food provided was sumptuous and well spread. We really enjoyed the food. The owners stay nearby and we had a chance to meet them. We were delighted to meet the humble family at their home and had wonderful home brewed coffee with them. We also had a chance to see their kennel where they have 10 majestic competition show canines. We are extremely happy with everything there we will surely visit this place in near future. Thanks to Pratheek who owns this resort, for all the arrangements.
