I got to know of this place through another homestay owned in Chikmagalur (long story). The property is nice. Definitely serene and calm. Ideal for Nature lovers. Connectivity to Chikmagalur and Hebbe falls and other attractions in Chikmagalur is good from this homestay. The best part of all is the food, they served complimentary breakfast, lunch and dinner (guess what? They try to accommodate your food preferences too). Manager Ashwin and helper Suresh are cool guys. They are super helpful. I now know where I want to stay the next time I am in Chikmagalur :D

We stayed over for a friends birthday and had a fantastic experience. Booking and communication was super easy. Ashwin was there to show us the place when we reached. It was great chatting with him about the estate and coffee cultivation and business. The place is super clean, charming and peaceful. The food was definitely the best part. Manjula served us a good variety of freshly cooked home food. There are two sweet dogs on the property, who usually mind their own business unless you go to them to pet them. There's a beautiful trail with tall trees, that you can walk down in the estate. My favorite part of the stay was that there were no disposable items/single use plastic items used throughout the homestay :)
The place is managed by Mr.Ashwin a fine gentleman and his team who are very hospitable and welcoming.The peaceful environment is what we enjoyed the most.To add to the environment,the rooms were neat, spacious and were just as comfortable as home. Absolutely awesome place to visit,Amazing home made food especially non vegetarian with great views. Would come back any time. So peaceful that you can hear nature singing all the time. This is one place which will remain etched in my mind forever. Thank You Ashwin & Team Looking forward for our next visit

Ideal place for a weekend getaway. Very calm and serene even if it’s on the main road . There is a stream flowing just behind the homestay which makes your stay even better.

Beautiful House in the middle of coffee plantation . Amazing service by Ashwin and Team. Food ( Home cooked) was great. All the rooms were clean and spacious. Thanks to Suresh and his wife for taking care of us and feeding us yummy food. We are most happy to visit Courtyard again. Thanks Ashwin for the great hospitality and for arranging the cake for us.
I stayed at the Courtyard along with my friends back in Oct 2019. It was a wonderful place to say, there's a stream and coffee plantation in the surrounding, which are quite serene. Ashwin, the owner of the property is a wonderful host. Easily one of the best accommodations in Chikamagalur. Do visit the place after the pandemic ends
