Loved this place when they were open. Multiple levels of fun, but not so large or hectic that you lose track of your children. Wonderful ice cream store next door. Can't wait for them to reopen!

My kids love going there. It's got a lot of fun and educational things for them to be hands-on with. They have a water table and two sand tables on the first floor. The second floor has a whole lot more to see and do. There is arts and crafts, a children's grocery store, a solar system exhibit, a medical area kids can pretend to be a paramedic or doctor and more. It'll keep your kids busy for a couple of hours easily.
Brought my 7 year old here. He had a blast. Yes, it’s smaller than some of the other children’s museums we’ve been too, but he had a blast.
My daughter loves going on shopping trips in here they also have an ambulance, fire truck, and police car your child can pay in. Downstairs they have a sand area an aquarium, water area also gravity games (think dropping golf balls down hill type stuff). Upstairs they have a shopping area with functioning scanner and cash register a cow you can milk a large operation game, magnet games, ice cream shop they can play in. a stage with 2 hand puppet areas with all kinds of clothes they can wear. wooden train tracks, a stuffed animal/doctor area, all kinds of good stuff...
Amazing children’s museum. We just moved to oak lawn and were pleasantly surprised to have this to go to, especially during winter with our 1.5yr old. The family membership is a great price if your going to go more than 6times in a year. We go here about once a week. Plenty of actives for all ages under 13. A section for under 18month olds in the center 2nd level. Seems they are always improving sections. A nicely stocked gift store. Nice craft area. Decently sized eating area. My only concerns are the need for a family bathroom/ toddler sink/toilet. Also the gate on the 2nd floor to the stairs could be a bit more secure(our toddler loves pushing it open and tries to go down the stairs so we have to watch him very closely). Overall a great place to visit if you’re in the area. Never too busy like at navy pier one or the Kohl’s museum. Parking is free on the 5th floor of the metra parking garage.
