Lori and Rick are some of my favourite people. They made me excited about music through their relational side of teaching! Lori was my vocal coach for a couple years when I was in high school and I have such fond memories of her kindness! Rick and Lori are the kind of people who's joy and love radiates from them. And their pets are pretty cute too!! :)

Spiderlodge is unlike any other music school in the area. Lori and Rick bring years of professional industry experience. They encourage students to develop and grow their own unique genres of interest, while using equipment they would in real life performance or studio situations. They even give advice and information on the business of music, finding other musicians, landing gigs and promoting on YouTube. Awesome, fun, caring people who welcome all ages to their studio!
Spiderlodge is a warm and welcoming little music studio right nestled at the base of little mountain.It is a place of inspiration, creativity, and learning. Rick & Lori are top-notch musicians and music instructors and they are both passionate about teaching and enabling students to not only improve their musicianship but also to unlock their creative potential and release it through music. Spiderlodge Studio is hands down one of the best experiences I have ever had. I have been going to this music school for many years and they have made me a better artist, muscian and singer. Rick and Lori bring out the inner artist in everyone and boost your confidence. If anyone is wanting to get into music, this is the place you for. Believe me. :)
Thanks so much Rick and Lori for all the years of music enjoyment you've brought to the Gidney family. Starting guitar lessons when I was 50 was one of the nicest things I've done for myself. It took lots of time and practice and I am now singing (thanks to the vocal lessons) and playing ukulele and guitar as a volunteer for the folks in retirement homes. I took our grand daughter (six at the time) and a niece (11) to lessons for years as well and what a lovely activity that was to do together. Rick's patience is amazing...thanks so much for that! Lori's encouragement...has literally given me a voice! I feel lucky to have met you two!...truly you have no idea how valuable the lifelong gift. Darlene xox
