Do not use this company, we only had them for a year and they were the worst to deal with. They did absolutely nothing during that year. They never responded to our emails or calls, it takes months for them to provide any paperwork when asked for it, they won't get quotes even when you recommend places. We got screwed paying very high insurance with a high levy because they didn't shop around for us despite the owners giving recommendations on cheaper places. They did things without us approving it first. Our new strata company is trying their best to get things going but are still being held back by stratech because they still haven't handed over our paperwork to the new company, 2 months later. I've never dealt with such an unprofessional company before.

The most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. I rented an apartment for over a year through Stratatech, and it has been a nightmare every step of the way. I was told by the lady showing me the suite that the place would be cleaned before I moved in and the light bulbs would be replaced... 2 weeks later I moved in and nothing had been cleaned and some of the lights including the entire bathroom fixture would not work. The freezer was dripping into the fridge, requiring a defrost, and the toilet was in need of repair. Here is what I found under the sinks: A bloody feminine-hygiene pad, a blowup mattress in a box, countless pieces of moldy paper-towel stuffed around the water piping, among other things. I asked to do a damage walkthrough but the lady from Stratatech refused and said it was unnecessary. I could go on but you get the Idea.
This is by far the WORST company I have ever dealt with. Joe, never provides last name, has taken over the company and is rude (if you ever get to talk with him because he hardly ever returns phone calls or emails). He does whatever he wants, even against the strata council's wishes with no remorse. He doesn't pay the bills on time and refuses to meet with anyone. Anyone affiliated in running this business are just as bad as Joe but he has the worst attitude and runs the company. The list is endless but save yourself from getting tangled up with the messes he creates. Gary Driesen ran it and he had excellent customer service skills and was always working for the customer, It was unfortunate he passed on. God bless him. Mystery Joe is only out for himself and if it benefits him he's on it. Please heed my warning and steer clear of Stratatech and Joe. If you don't be prepared to live in a nightmare.
Joe is the owner of Stratatech and I must say this is a warning, stay far away from this company! They took over our street strata and tried to sneakily increase the monthly fees when our representative went to sign the contract in March... this should have been our warning! They never started to take the money out of our accounts after we sent in our information for strata fees and didn’t even realize for 7 months until we finally called to figure out why?! Once we brought their attention to the fact that they had been doing nothing, they scrambled to collect the fees, renew our insurance and set up an AGM since we had bills that couldn’t be paid! They completely mangled our finances and when we told them we wanted to part ways from them, they started to talk big talk to scare us by sending us individually to collections! They STILL havnt passed over our bank account funds or financials and information and won’t respond to emails. We are now having to contact the Real Estate Council of British Columbia to file a formal complaint. Stay far away from these guys!
The worst experience I have ever had with a strata management company, hands down. If you want to work with a company who will happily take your money while offering nothing but mediocre customer service and support (If you even get responses), then Stratatech is the one for you!
