The service call from Chimney Sweeps of America exemplified the type of service I hope to have from any company that does service in our house. The communication from scheduling to arrival was timely and seamless. The project started and ended on time. The prep work and clean up ensured the work area was as clean after the project as it was before. When there was a need to go beyond our original price for the service call, the technician met with us first to discuss the cost and help us to understand the rationale. Billing was correct and transparent. We felt valued as customers- despite the minor work of the service call. Without a doubt, this is a company I will go back to time and time again- even if there is a cheaper option or a company with more immediate openings for service times. In fact, I would recommend them to any friends or neighbors in need of a good fireplace service company.

We contacted Chimney Sweeps of America for fireplace inspection/diagnostics on our fireplaces and we couldn't be happier with them! Mark is extremely professional, arrived early, took the time to walk me through what he was going to do beforehand, and explained the entire process. Where repairs were needed, he talked to me first about them and gave me options. He then followed up with a detailed email, including pictures of our fireplaces, the work that was done, and any future recommendations. I truly wish every contractor we hired were even half as professional, dedicated, and personable as Mark is. I would also add that the professionalism we encountered began with the office staff when we first called to set up our appointments. Trisha was very friendly, asked detailed questions to ascertain the amount of time that was going to be required for our time slot, followed up with both reminder phone calls and emails. We are extremely happy with all the work Mark did and best of all...we are now enjoying our fireplaces! We HIGHLY recommend Chimney Sweeps of America!!

I called one of the licensed dealers for the gas fireplace in the house I had just bought. (The pilot light wouldn't relight and I didn't feel like blowing myself up trying to fix it.) That dealer referred me to Chimney Sweeps of America. I had to make an appointment a couple months out, but, when Mark got here, it was worth it. Turns out a moth had gotten into the gas tube feeding the pilot light and died there, blocking the gas. Since the fireplace is as old as the house, I went ahead and opted for a cleaning as well. Mark fixed everything, cleaned everything, and explained everything. He protected our carpet by putting down a moving blanket in his work space. He wore his face mask correctly the entire time. The fireplace looks brand new. Mark checked for gas leaks. I have useful maintenance information going forward. I am already planning on using Chimney Sweeps of America to do the recommended yearly fireplace inspection for years to come! I highly recommend this service!

Chimney Sweeps procured and installed a wood burning stove for me. The stove head a few issues that needed to be fixed and they made the whole process so easy for me. They acknowledged the issue and did all the work necessary to get the parts ordered and installed. They even kept me abreast while I waited for the parts. Truly excellent service.
