The Sweep arrived on time and was very friendly. He was curious of our home and kept his vacuum outside. Our home was built in the '70's, but we've only lived in it since 2015. We never used the fireplace because we saw some cracks in the firebrick and had no idea if the fireplace had been maintained properly. After he cleaned and evaluated the firebrick, damper and chimney, the Sweep put our minds to ease. He explained our bricks were fine and the cracks we saw were superficial. He then oiled and adjusted our damper so it worked easily and had a good seal. We were very pleased with the whole experience.
Ray Reynolds was recommended to us by a contractor we know because my chimney is in my back yard. So far we have had two different appointments for an estimate, and on both occasions he never showed or called. I do not recommend this guy for anything. If I could give him and his company less than 1 star.
Very efficient, professional and knowledgeable are all terms that perfectly describe you. You showed up on time, worked quickly and effectively. I really appreciated you taking the time to explain how to light a fire and not create a smoke house. I highly recommend that anyone.
