I have a sister who has been a student there for the past couple years and I just keep hearing wonderful things about the school. Many of the other attendees are very kind and supportive of each other, many of the parents who bring their kids there are SOOO dedicated and do their best to help the school and other students. Some of the parents even love to bring treats for the kids! Through being enrolled in the school, my sister got to participate in things that she normally would not have, like travelling internationally to perform and watch other dance performers from all over the world. I myself have had the privilege of being able to watch this amazing dance school put out their very best shows for the past 2 years. I am consistently wowed by the creative and talented performances, how beautiful the costumes look, and even got to see some of the littlest ones perform ( as little as two or three years old! Super cute!) I would highly recommend anyone to attend a show performed by the Chinese Cultural Arts Association. And if anyone out there is interested in joining as a performer, I would highly recommend it also!

I have watched a number of their performances throughout the year and their team of dancers have always done a fabulous job of celebrating traditional Chinese dance. The very same team has also represented Canada on a number of occasions on a global level through competitions and events. The CCAA is also offers alternative ways to learn more about Chinese culture through dance as it offers classes across all ages and taught by qualified instructors.

I have recently joined the adult Chinese dance class, and am having a great time! The teacher and fellow students have all made me feel welcome and part of the \family\. Thank you CCAA!

The teachers here are great. Always willing to help. It’s almost like a family. I love dancing with them. I’ve even seen some of the younger kids sometimes stuck without a ride. And they have been able to figure out a carpool for that odd occasion so the kids don’t need to miss class.

New to CCAA pros: convenient location if you drive; experienced instructors; many opportunities to perform cons: class sizes could be smaller!
