We had a very bad experience with one of the Karen that lives down the road. We were going to go for a walk in the nature reserve and after seeing all the good reviews of the place here, we decided to meet here and take pictures and relax for 20 mins. Some of the people attending the place was late and this Karen was waiting and blocked the road as the cars came. She claimed that we were parked there illegally when it was a public free car park. She held over 8 cars hostage by blocking the road. She was claiming that the car park was for only for dog walkers and later told someone else in the convoy it was for disabled people. For the 45 mins we were there, we were sat inside the cars talking to each other through the windows and the only group that was outside was the family which were in a bubble. Karen claimed that she would call the police and the attendees were being noisy and loud when such things were impossible as the cars were parked and we would not waste fuel on that especially when we have had a long journey to go ahead after. After Karen disturbed our day, an old man came claiming he was the warden and he also blocked our path and avoided us from leaving. They had no reason to complain as everyone were organised into Social bubbles and what she have done was illegal, the dog walkers that went past were amazed and congratulated on the variety of cars that were there. Finally, during the whole time we were there, not a single car came to park at the location so we were not even taking up any space. Overall, a story to remember.. If you go, enjoy yourselves and make sure you avoid that Karen, she lives about 300 yards and owns a lame Subaru Legacy.

View is great. Great sunset view on sunny day, great view of Chinnor steam rail on cold days.

Handy car park for about 8 cars. 10 minute footpath walk to hillside with huge views over Aylesbury Vale and Chinnor village. Good place for dogs or picnics.
