Clean and peaceful place. The electric furnace is used for burning the dead body. The staffs are helpful. According to the Hooghly-Chinsurah Municipality rate as per January 2020, the fixed charge of the cremation is Rs 650/-. The priest takes some other charges. Drinking water and toilets are available here. Sitting arrangement is good. The River Ganga is flowing just beside the ghat. An old chula is just beside the main area. An Kali Mata Temple is here.
