Great place for the dinner. Firstly the owner that serves you doing his best, you have someone that will take care to make your stomach happy. The food was delicious, also a wines. There is enough place for small company. All the sitting places are inside. Prices are not cheap, but not too high.

This is one of the best if not best meal we had in Italy in 2 weeks. Honestly this is the food you came to Italy for. truffle profitelore was simply amazing. And make sure you leave a room for tiramisu ! Also the owner was super sweet, we asked for winery recommendation and he drew this map of a logistically really well planned trip across best wineries and castles in Chianti. Just a perfect and authentic experience! Thumbs up, we’ll be back!

Biggest surprise of the year!! Such a lovely person serving us and advising us. I had the best steak with truffles I have ever had, melts in your mouth. So did the potatoes and vegetables. Day 3 in Tuscany and the best place we have been to. A wonderful place, can only highly recommend!

This hotel is in the middle of Tuscany /Chianti area. We were driving daily around Tuscany to visit Florence, Siena, Pisa, San Gimignano etc. If one is not driving, the bus stop is in front the hotel. This is a small hotel and Francesco went out his way to be the perfect host. Rooms are very clean, with good WiFi, and nothing was missing from services/ amenities. In the hotel there is a fine restaurant cheffed by Alessio and his son where we daily dined. Their special dishes made our day all the more enjoyable and complete with Tuscany experience. Do not look any further

This was one of the best meals of our 3 weeks in Italy. We made a reservation - I would recommend this or showing up very soon after it opens for dinner. It gets packed for good reason. The host is amazing as he does everything - seating tables, serving tables and pouring drinks. The food was excellent and we so enjoyed our evening. Two of us had chicken and I had gnocchi. Great wine recommendation from the host as well.

Wow! I’m staying at this great little hotel/ristorante. Just had an amazing meal at the Locanda II Gallo. Thank you Alessia for a wonderful night and meal. Memorable first night in Italy.

Looking for a place for dinner on a Monday night and found this little gem. Everything was excellent , staff, food and cosy atmosphere. Don't miss it. Plenty of parking as well.

Don't think, just go. Seriously. This locally owned and operated restaurant will exceed your expectations. Francesco was more than accommodating. From the hand-cut bread to the last bite of the meal everything was truly amazing. We had a saffron zucchini pasta that was exceptional. We followed that with a chicken in a balsamic sauce that had us complementing every bite. This was a shared second plate with a bacon-wrapped tenderloin that cannot be described. The beef was rare and so well prepared that my mouth is watering just thinking about it as I write this review. One would think that the side item is just that. A little something extra to add... Think again. We had roasted potatoes like nothing I've had before. Chunks of potatoes that were seasoned with rosemary. They were crispy on the outside with a creamy, almost liquid, center. These potatoes are grown around a volcano lake and are like none other in the world. All of this plus great service at a more than reasonable cost. If you're not going it's your loss.
